During the production side of filming my TV advert film I had to make different adjust and changes due to unfortunate circumstances:
These are the elements that are mentioned in this short video and evidence of where in my TV advert the changes should have been made for the match of its originality.
- Outfits were supposed to be different colours but tried to show the difference within football teams. However due to children forgetting to do so I had to try and separate them with showing difference which was done by certain having there blazers off and other group just having there school shirts on.
- I had to refilm scenes in the park and film at a different time as the park was busy as it was after school with hundreds of school kids running out. I had to protect there privacy by not filming them and was also getting disrupted when trying to film which became time consuming and frustrating.
- I had to record audio on my iPhone as it was too windy on the first day of filming, therefore, i increased the chances o having a successful Tv advert.
Analysing the feedback and question I were asked in my final pitch presentation that I incorporated in my Tv advert:
- Why did I choose that chocolate bar ?
I stated that I believe this chocolate eclairs is being slept on and that not a lot of people go out of there way to try this chocolate sweet as it doesn't seem as appealing as a chocolate bar. Therefore, it has not got the recognition it deserves which is why I picked this chocolate to show potential consumers and society what they are missing out on. I had incorporated this in my Tv advert as I had the main thing about a competition and I showed in the end when people go face to face with picking between chocolates, they should pick chocolate eclairs.
- How would you make that stand out?
This Interlinks with the first question but the way I made it stand out is having something both genders enjoy watching which is football as the entire advert theme and topic as well as children playing it which represents that this chocolate is suitable to the older children to consume. I stated in the presentation that I will do this by creating the new advert and just raising awareness in general to show look I am back and I'm back stronger.
- Why did you decide to pick the location as the school?
The reason why I picked this as also mentioned in my presentation is the convenience it has on both I and my actors to be able to film somewhere that is local and known by everyone that makes it easier to be on time and all be at the same place. I had incorporated this in my Tv Advert when showing I am in the park next to the school.
- The inside of the sweet is described and is a chocolate that would not be usually advertised for young children, why is your aim children as well as older?
I stated that I do believe that young babies and children from the ages of 6 should and cannot consume it as it is a chocking hazard, however having the sweet can be consumed by young children that are or either on the verge of being young adults from the ages 16 and above as I think they are old and mature enough to have the opportunity to consume this sweet. I had incorporated this in my Tv Advert when my actors in my Tv advert were all young children playing against one another for best chocolate team.
